Deelish and Easy Home Made Pesto Pasta

Preparation time: 5 mins

Cooking time: store for up to 3days can be frozen in ice cubes


  • 1 large bunch of basil
  • 1/3 cup of pine nuts
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 juice fresh lemon
  • 1/3 cup olive oil


  1. Toast the pine nuts in a dry frying pan
  2. Add all the ingredients to a blender.
  3. Blitz thoroughly
  4. Make your favourite pasta.
  5. Stir through the sauce adding a little of the pan water, and if you like some creme fraiche.
  6. Add protein, eg flaked salmon chicken.
  7. Enjoy! x
