Ingredients

  • 40g rolled oats
  • 250ml almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1/2 medium banana, sliced
  • 30g blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp (15g) chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 tbsp (15g) almond or peanut butter (optional, for added creaminess)

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, combine the oats, almond milk, chia seeds, and cinnamon.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 5-7 minutes or until the oats are soft and the mixture thickens.
  3. Pour into a bowl and top with sliced banana, blueberries, and a drizzle of honey if desired. Add a spoonful of nut butter for extra creaminess and protein.
